Recording Studios
A studio has two acoustic jobs: keep outside noise out, and make the inside sound right. Isolation handles the first; tuned absorption and diffusion handle the second.
Isolate the room. Traffic, HVAC, and footfall ruin takes. Mass loaded vinyl adds mass to walls and ceilings to block airborne sound, and sound isolation wall clips decouple drywall from framing so vibration can't travel through the structure.
Treat reflections. Once the room is quiet, fabric-wrapped acoustic panels at first-reflection points tighten the sound of the room so microphones capture the source — not the walls.
Diffuse for a natural feel. A room that's all absorption sounds dead and fatiguing. QRD diffusers scatter remaining energy evenly, keeping the room feeling open and musical while staying controlled.
Tell us your room dimensions and what you record — we'll recommend an isolation and treatment package. Request a proposal.
Let's make it quieter.
